Further software requirements
An installation of Java 1.7 (64-bit version) or higher is necessary. The LBF®.WheelStrength GUI needs a working Java Virtual Machine. The installed graphic driver should be the latest version and supporting OpenGL.
Hardware Requirements
For RAM and other hardware-related requirements for the FE-solver program, please see the related installation and configuration guide of this FE-solver.
Additionally to the space required by your FE-process you will need 4 GB RAM for LBF®.WheelStrength postprocessing and at least 30 GB free hard disk.
To work with big models with a high number of nodes 16 GB RAM and 200 GB free hard drive capacity are recommended.

Model Requirements
For the Nastran interface the standard input deck format is used (*.bdf, *.dat).
For the ANSYS interface the used input deck file format is the ANSYS APDL-file (*.cdb, *.inp).
For the PERMAS interface the standard input deck format is used (*.dat.gz).
For the Abaqus interface the standard input deck format is used (*.inp).
For the OptiStruct interface the Bulk Data File format (*.bdf) is used.
